Canada's Wonderland

Canada's Wonderland is Canada's first and largest theme park. Located in Vaughan, Ontario, it draws in thousands of visitors every day. Some of them live as close as London, ON townhouses while others come from as far away as New Zealand. If you're planning on living in Vaughan, Canada's Wonderland is worth at least one trip. It spans over 330 acres and has over 200 attractions. For two years in a row this decade, it was the most attended park in North America, with over 3.2 million visitors per year. To give you an overview of the fun things you can expect from the park, we've created this article on Canada's Wonderland.

Rides

Canada's Wonderland has a dozen roller coasters geared toward adults and three specifically designed for children, each of which cost more to build than most Mississauga homes. The most famous is the inverted Flight Deck roller coaster, originally known as Top Gun, which is meant to simulate flying in a fighter jet. Other rides include: Psyclone, which spins you horizontally and Drop Zone, which simulates free-fall. Riptide is a splash ride, the Rage is base upon a pirate ship, and the Action Theatre lets you feel the action in a 3D Spongebob Squarepants movie. There are also more classic rides like carousels.

Theme Lands

The Medieval Faire section of the park takes the visitor back to medieval Europe. This area has themed rides, a pirate show on a lake, and a medieval theatre. The International Festival section focuses on the world outside of Cabbagetown real estate. Here you will find various midway games and several German themed rides. Hanna Barbera Land is dedicated to old-school cartoon characters while Nickelodeon Central focuses on newer cartoons. Most of the kid-friendly rides are in the Kidzville section. The Action Zone resembles the world fairs of bygone days and has Latin American, African, and Asian themed rides. This is also where you'll find most of the newer rides like Flight Deck, Sky Rider, Jet Scream, and the Sledgehammer, which don't fit into any of the themed lands.

Waterpark

In addition to the splash rides over in the White Water Canyon part of the park, Canada's Wonderland also has a dedicated water park called Splashworks; so if the air conditioning breaks down and it becomes too hot to post Toronto condo real estate listings, this is where you should head. It is home to Canada's largest wave pool, 16 water slides, a special kid friendly area called Splash Island, and a lazy river. Patrons can choose between slides that they go on by themselves and rides that require them to ride an inner tube.

Shops and Restaurants and Concerts

Though shops and restaurants that fit in with the themes of the various lands can be found all over the park, none of them are really appropriate for a Brampton real estate business meeting. More general restaurants can be found on International Street just as you enter the park, an area which leads to the Wonder Mountain artificial waterfall. It once had restaurants featuring food from different cultures but has since been taken over by fast food chains, general souvenir shops, and candy stores. The Kingswood Music Theater seats 15,000 and is often the venue for big-name concerts.
