Entertainment Alternatives in Vaughan, ON

Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum is located in Vaughan, Ontario, and was founded in 1997. It was incorporated by the Ontario Soccer Association.

Vaughan Mills is the newest mall in the Greater Toronto Area, and was recently constructed in Vaughan. It has almost 1.2 million square feet of retail space, and has over 200 retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment outlets. Fifteen anchor retailers are present, including Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, H&M, One's Better Living, and Urban Behaviour. Canada's Wonderland
Canada's Wonderland, Canada's largest amusement park located in Vaughan, Ontario. This 330 acre theme park is located only 30 kilometres north of Toronto, ON. Canada's Wonderland is considered one of North America's premier amusement parks. The park is open seasonally from May to October, and has also been the most attended seasonal theme parks in North America for two years running (2005 and 2006). The park's attendance in 2005 was about 3.7 million people.

Today, Canada's Wonderland has over 200 attractions, including over 60 thrill rides. The park has North America's 3rd greatest number of roller coasters with 14 in total, and North America's greatest variety. The park features eight themed areas, and includes a 20 acre waterpark called Splash Works. Splash Works has over 2 million gallons of heated water, Canada's largest outdoor wave pool measuring 36,000 square feet, a lazy river, and 16 water slides.
